Shape of Absence Library

Shape of Absence is a New York based lending library. With over 350+ books, the collection prioritizes texts that grapple with issues of race, class, gender, sexuality, performance, and aesthetics. The collection also includes works of fiction, essays, memoirs, biographies, poetry, and zines. You can find part of the library housed at Land to Sea Cafe in East Williamsburg, New York.
